Thanks for the feedback, good stuff. As for contributing: we'll be releasing the code when we launch the site for real (i.e. actually replace python.org), and we'll certainly be taking pull requests. I'll also have some contributor guidlines written up by that point. We've got some serious work to do first, though :)
