  People don't ascribe in anything that's "the law" or "established". Take the US for example. Slavery was the law back in the day. Segregated buses, hotels, restaurants and housing areas for blacks and whites was also the law, just 50 years ago. Death penalty is still the law today.

      Nope, you're right. But he also has no fundamental right to get paid for being the first to magnetize his hard drive in a certain configuration.

        He absolutely does. If you make something, you have a fundamental right to decide how it gets used.
