I know I can google and figure this out, but how exactly can I deploy a rails app with git to an EC2 instance. I want to do something like I can do on Heroku(git push heroku master) with an EC2 instance.

- notdan 14y agoI would like something similar that can be used for any VPS. So if I get a box from Linode or Rackspace, for example (or even a real server), is there an easy way to have ngnix+passenger+git+backups etc setup and configured in a secure way without having to manually do it all myself?
