I know this is not likely within Clerky's remit - because they seem focused on the legal aspect of getting started, but I would LOVE for them to also do bank account setup. That would allow a company to go from nothing to a complete entity ready to get a Stripe account, in no time.
- swampthing 14y agoWe'd love to do that too! It gets a little complicated though because banks have their own set of regulations and depending on their model, can be picky about who they take on as a client (a lot of banks lose money on early-stage startups and only take them on to get their foot in the door for the future). It's something we're working on though :)
- marcamillion 14y agoThat's awesome...and I fully appreciate the complexity of all of this. Maybe you could even just integrate that with Stripe, so you are a 1-stop shop. We go to Clerky to incorporate, setup bank account, and Stripe. Signed, sealed and delivered.
