I must be a serial contrarian, because I actually can't get enough of facts like these. I have no internal resistance whatsoever - I've already decided not to get a house with a wood burning fireplace in my next move. I'm sure most people on Hacker News are capable of accepting things like this without having a "religious" reaction.
