- stevejb 14y agoIt does not, because you are still stuck with i5/i7 processors, whereas workstations, especially those in high performance applications, would be much more suited to a Xeon. I run a linux workstation with dual 6 core Xeon Sandy Bridge-EP's, with 64 GB of RAM. Being on an i7 would be limiting.
