Why not set minimum wage to $35/hr and we make everyone middle class?

  for the same reason offering loans and grants didn't make college affordable, prices adjust to the money available and the costs to create. Are you ready to say all the people you have met or know are worth thirty five bucks and hour in a job? Would you pay them the same to work for you?
