I've been looking for someone to write interesting, in-depth articles on local business. For money. I've yet to find anyone who a) wants to do it, and b) can do it. I've tried a few things - even contacting people who I know are doing unpaid 'internships' writing crappy press-release pieces. Very few even responded, and of those that did, even fewer had any grasp of investigating something. I gave up looking, and just do the writing myself - even though the opportunity cost is massive.
