can't really say. what you should do is pick a number that you feel your time is worth, and charge that. whatever you pick, make sure you're charging that for all freelance activities you do, iphone dev or not, because this is what you feel should be fair for your one hour of time. edited to add: i'm talking about base rate, too. if you want to add in special breaks for long-term commitments, that usually goes over well.

You should charge what you can get. If iphone gigs are few and far between, charge 100$ an hour for those, but if your fallback is, say, ditch digging with a hand shovel, you probably won't get many clients at those rates.
