Upstart is available in the Debian package repos, and it was used for a while by Red Hat before they switched to Systemd.
- zobzu 14y agoFedora package != RHEL defaults. Debian package != Debian defaults. RHEL 6.4 still uses systemv init, in fact.
- tedks 14y agoHave the Debian defaults (by some definition) had an opportunity to update since upstart was packaged for Debian?
