Cool trick: use ssh-copy-id <server> from the client machine. From the man page: ssh-copy-id - install your public key in a remote machine's authorized_keys It is much easier than editing the remote .ssh/authorized_keys file since copying and pasting the key is error prone due to extra new lines typically added by the terminal emulator.
