- drakeandrews 14y agoErgo it has everything to do with HN.
- StavrosK 14y agoYeah, "what belongs on HN" is basically "what HNers upvote".
- lelandbatey 14y agoIndeed, that is in fact very explicitly what belongs on HN. Quoted from the HN Guidelines: "On-Topic: Anything that good hackers would find interesting. That includes more than hacking and startups. If you had to reduce it to a sentence, the answer might be: anything that gratifies one's intellectual curiosity." If it "gratifies one's intellectual curiosity, it's totally cool.
- short_circut 14y agoIf you think about it, it is technically a hack. They sort of hacked the adoption process. From my understanding usually adoption is significantly more difficult.
- drakeandrews 14y agoI think technically the judge hacked the adoption process.
- guelo 14y ago"what HNers upvote" - "what moderators kill"
- nikcub 14y agoI was waiting for the part where they asked the judge to join their new web based child adoption startup as an advisor
