The evidence of global warming is there to see, for all, at any time. And still people completely dismiss it out of hand. So, no. An event like this on Mars wont make any difference to public opinion what so ever.
- venomsnake 14y agoIf the impact happens - debris from this collision will come home to earth - and they may be bigger than dust.
- pc86 14y agoWhat evidence do you have to suggest that a Martian impact will result in subsequent impacts on Earth?
- bashinator 14y agoWe've found meteorites ejected from Martian impacts that have landed in Antarctica. Mars' gravity is such that a sufficiently large impact can create ejecta traveling at greater than escape velocity.
