- dljsjr 14y agoEdit: Parent comment originally said something completely different. My reply doesn't make sense but I'm leaving it up for completeness. This is not that new. Alton Brown has been publishing LN_2 ice cream recipes for ages; Dippin' Dots uses LN_2 to make their product (dripping the liquid product through LN_2 to make the balls), and just last month some folks[1] were on ABC's Shark Tank seeking investments to expand their LN_2 Ice Cream franchise. - jamessb 14y agoThe idea of making ice-cream with liquified gases dates back to the very start of the 20th Century. It was described by Agnes http://matthew-rowley.blogspot.co.uk/2010/09/mrs-marshalls-l... Marshall.
- nepthar 14y agoI live right by this place and have had their ice cream a few times. It's very cool to watch them make it. I don't particularly like any of their flavors or their very high prices, so keep that in mind when I say that calling it the "World's Best Ice Cream" is a huge exaggeration. I would never recommend this place to visitors.
