Hi!
1.) Works exactly the same :)
2.) Hey we're from Sydney too! Our severs are in us-east at the moment. We've got loads of Australian customers and for Minecraft, us-east latency is very playable. Best thing is to give it a go and see what it's like. That being said, we've designed our platform to be multi-region so more datacenters are Coming Soon.
- Bockit 14y agoThanks for the reply. Ok, I'll probably give it a trial and see how it goes then! I'm pretty committed to my mindcrack pack world at the moment though, so what are the plans to support other modpacks in the future?
- chrislloyd 14y agoWe've open-sourced that Funpack so that's the general structure of how we run things. If you create a new one and send it to us, who knows, we might publish it for everybody to play :)
