Pebble seeks interaction and industrial designer

Pebble Technology is looking for a intermediate Industrial Designer who has experience in interactive design and mechanical design. We’re looking for someone who can develop new user interfaces for current and future product lines. As we develop new hardware we will need to integrate the technologies into new products and experiment with new methods of interaction. We’re looking for someone who can be creative in generating, prototyping, experimentation and analysing these new methods. We’re also looking for someone who has a strong mechanical design background to assist in manufacturing drawings and models. Manufacturing experience would be a significant asset. You would be working out of the Pebble office in Palo Alto, California. About Pebble Technology: Pebble Technology is the company behind the Pebble E-Paper Smartwatch that raised $10mm on Kickstarter (http://kck.st/HumIV5). Experience: - 1-2 years of user interface design experience in software development - 2-3 years of consumer hardware development - Experience in interactive/ergonomic testing - Degree in Industrial Design (or equivalent level) - Mass production experience (bonus) Skills: - User interface prototyping.
