This is false. My sister developed it in her 30s as a consequence of contracting giardia.
- bane 14y agowww.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/22617359 a case study about this exact thing. There's actually a lot of literature on giardiasis and celiac as they're often confused initially. Biopsy usually sorts it out.
