What's the motive behind the U.S. government revealing this to the public? I can't seem to logically come to any conclusion.
- motters 14y agoTo prepare people for what's coming in the next 5-10 years. If cities become panopticons overnight that would induce a greater degree of alarm and popular resistance to the idea. Introducing things gradually such that people become habituated is less likely to result in significant pushback.
