I've installed Ubuntu on my Nexus 7 (https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Nexus7/Installation https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Nexus7/Installation, the desktop version, not the new mobile version) and now I code on my tablet, which is awesome for something that I can carry easily around everywhere. I also carry a keyboard that doubles as a case (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cWy3C4DAoOc&list=HL1353769144&feature=mh_lolz http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cWy3C4DAoOc&list=HL135376...), and now I have the smallest computer I've ever owned in my life. If you're able to put a serious OS on your tablet, you essentially just have a tiny portable computer.
