The concept of 'karma' doesn't seem to have anything to do with the thing we call 'karma' on the internet. I want 'tech support karma'. If I only submit a tech support request once per month, and I never ask for a telephone call-back, that should be worth something, like, very high priority in my request. Similarly, if I am pinging tech support every hour, that should lower my priority, perhaps. This could be used on HN as well. If somebody submits often, there should be some penalty associated with that. A pop-up window that says, "You're over your daily post threshold. Submitting this link will cost you 5 karma points"
