- shawn-butler 14y agoSeriously, we have to moderate the use of the word "guys" now? It's a colloquialism for "people" in the plural. Although it is kind of interesting that it is common to use "guys" to describe either a group of men, or a mixed-gender group of people but I don't think anyone would use it to refer to a group consisting solely of women.
- siculars 14y agotrue. further, many languages refer to a group of women in the feminine, a group of men in the masculin and a mixed group in the masculin.
