Shouldn't unique IP be unique cookie? Because IP is not that much unique, two people can have the same IP and both surfing hackernews.

Shouldn't unique IP be unique cookie? Because IP is not that much unique, two people can have the same IP and both surfing hackernews.
- jacques_chester 14y agoLots of people read HN without creating accounts. Quite a few people hit HN as part of a Google search. One of my blog posts gets a steady stream of visitors every day from people looking for comparisons of Chef, Puppet and cfengine; they come across from a link I made in a HN thread.
