You've already bought the Windows laptop, proving that Linux support from their part wasn't that important after all. The only way I'd see this working is if you could use the magical checkbox to say "I'm preordering this laptop only after you get all hardware properly working in Linux". Get enough Linux preorders like that and they might even task someone with prodding the component manufacturers to come up with proper drivers.
