Last time I was in a bike lane I ended up in an ambulance with several broken ribs, as a car decided to take a shortcut. Still looking forward to getting back in the saddle. Bike lanes can be downright scary. Sometimes I feel alot safer riding in traffic where motorists don't have the option to ignore me.
