ctrl+c is even better (in my opinion). In theory it doesn't work in every place ESC works, but I haven't noticed such places. Also ctrl+j works as ENTER. It does make a big difference to me.
- nbouscal 14y agoYou can also just map <c-c> <esc> and not have to ever worry about the edge cases.
- shortlived 14y agoctrl+c is NOT the same thing. There are some very important operations that do not occur.
