A bit premature to call it a masterpiece isn't it?
- Yuioup 14y agoPeople are also assuming that Halo is a masterpiece. I don't consider it a masterpiece. It's a good shooter but that's about it. It got the 3d shooting game mechanics right but Bungie is definitely standing on the shoulders of giant developers who created the masterpieces.
- EA 14y agoBut it is the technical 'masterpiece' of the XBOX. It was the killer app on XBOX Live. And they changed the way other developers used the XBOX controller to input commands. And somehow along the way, it became a household name.
