As someone who works in the financial services industry, I think that all of the MS Office applications are great - much better than the open source alternative

As someone who works in the financial services industry, I think that all of the MS Office applications are great - much better than the open source alternatives (although I wish this wasn't true). I also want to be the lone voice here in saying that I also think that Windows is excellent, and is much easier to use than OS X and Linux (and I've used them all) for everything except programming. This is a very unpopular opinion on Hacker News, but in the real world a lot of people are like me, agree with me, and it is worth bearing this in mind.
