Of course they are less durable than most other body parts,
I think it wasn't until I recovered from my lasik that I fully understood that eyes, like any other part of the body, heal if damaged. Except maybe teeth.
- zokier 14y agoAfaik ears also do not heal; once your hearing is gone, then it's gone. Of course that probably is crude generalization, but I believe it to be true for noise-induced hearing loss at least. So take care of your ears, and use ear plugs when necessary.
