I've had my Pebble for 10 days. I charged it once when I got it and once since then, it died on me for the first time while I was wearing it today. I would say the battery life on is great especially compared to the inPulse and definitely usable. I've noticed the battery usage varies a lot. depending on watchfaces, how your notifications are set / how many notifications you get on a daily basis. But my sparse charging since I got it has proven that the battery should easily stand up to 3 or 4 days of use between charges. This was more than enough to satisfy me after the crummy battery life I experience with inPulse.
