I'm not sure, and I'm wondering the same thing. Same with regards to people who think the spread of high speed fiber will result in a telecommuting revolution. I don't think a jump from 20 to 100mbits is going to revolutionize anything. I do know that hosting a server is prohibited by Google Fiber TOS, so I'm not sure how this is going to work.
