The take away here is in the US we pump a ton of money into our military for what happens on the battlefield and then forget completely about the people who come back and have to reintegrate into society. US soliders have extremely high rates of suicide, depression, divorce, ect because we do nothing to get these people support afterwards. I agree though, this has no place on HN.
