- readme 14y agoProbably because the US is becoming an increasingly hostile place to wealth, not to mention the fact that we're a police state. Singapore is an incredibly good place to do business, I'm not shocked, especially since he wasn't a native born American. Oh yeah, the real kicker is that you have to renounce citizenship, or you'll pay federal taxes even while living abroad. (True for dual citizens, too) That was probably his real reason.
