- ChuckMcM 14y agoFair enough. Another term compromised :-). For clarification, back in my day if the only funding you got was from founders and maybe an individual or two who believed in your idea [1], and consequently made it all the way to profitability, that was 'bootstrapping' the company. - wiwillia 14y agoThat would be the case with us - we have raised a seed round but it was from a local angel (Bill Cesare) who joined the team full-time and is now our COO.
