I used to use GoDaddy until they charged me $25 simply because my WHOIS info was inaccurate. They could have emailed me to update it, but instead charged me the fee and THEN told me if I didn't fix it, they would cancel my domains. I immediately transferred all of my domains to Gandi. I bet they would have tried to upsell me on private WHOIS service as well, even though Gandi offers it for free...
