Well, I didn't read into it the way you did. Perhaps, I'm being naive but I see it more as an opportunity to match people with different talents (or at least talents focused in varying areas). I agree that to be treated as a "proletariat" that was being used as an inexpensive means to an end would be a bad situation. I hope that is not the case here.
