London, UK
IPC Media is the UK's leading magazine and digital publisher. We're currently hiring DevOps, PHP (preferably Symfony) developers and front-end developers.
Lately we've been doing a bunch of fun stuff:
- Reducing page load times across our sites
- Implementing a continuous integration system
- Switching to Git and embracing a better workflow with GitHub Enterprise
- Building a new platform to serve our mobile sites
If you want to know more about the positions or about the day-to-day work, hit me up: "joseph_wynn" at ipcmedia.com.
- timmow 14y agoA bit more on the devops role - we are looking for a developer interested in infrastructure or a sysadmin interested in development to help work on our puppet / mcollective managed platform, produce tools to help developers productivity, and work on metrics collection / visualisation, as well as some more strategic development work on the high traffic consumer websites. All in a fantastic office next to the tate modern. If you are interested, email Joseph above.
