So true!
I bought a license for WebStorm on that end-of-the-world sale they had a while ago and never cared to actually install it. Definitely going to check it out now.
- ylem 14y agoMaybe get an affiliate link to help support the site?
- sturadnidge 14y agoI can scarcely believe that I too did exactly this. Although I guess Textmate has benefitted from this kind of thing over the years.
- rexreed 14y agoI tried to sign up for the end of the world sale, but their servers were down and they won't honor the discount now. I don't blame 'em... but would love it if they threw me a bone for something like PHPStorm.
- jasonm23 14y agoDon't they offer free licences to people who contribute to open source projects? The did for ReSharper and (something else I've forgotten.)
- WickyNilliams 14y agoThey do, it's a really painless process. I submitted an application during the end of the world sale and within a day or two I had a licence. I then felt bad at getting it for free during the epic sale, so I also bought an intellij license out of my own pocket to even things up :)
