Because Google chrome is snake oil. Last I heard they still give regular bounties to people who submit major security bugs.
- DanBC 14y agoGoogle offer payments for bugs as a small thank you to people who report bugs. Google accepts that all code has bugs, and they want help to close those bugs. Mega is offering a prize for breaking their crypto. They hope to never pay it out, and they hope to use that as a sales line - "SUPER SECURE CRYPTO NEVER BROKEN!!".
