- zmmmmm 14y agoNo, typing Windows Update gets you to the updates for the tablet, which do not include Office. To update Office you go through the control panel see - http://winsupersite.com/article/windows8/microsoft-surface-upgrade-final-office-2013-rt-144650 http://winsupersite.com/article/windows8/microsoft-surface-u... Perhaps it has changed, but this is how it was 3 weeks ago when I updated the tablet I had.
- meaty 14y agoThis is what I experienced as well. I've updated it now - it's still a dog, even compared to my 5 year old ThinkPad...
