MHacks - "The Most Epic Hackathon Ever"
- TheBizness 14y agoShould be interesting to see how this goes considering this is only the second hackathon ever held at Michigan.
- gailees 14y agoInaugural MHacks!
- mhseiden 14y agoNope. Definitely the second MHacks. https://www.facebook.com/events/430667410314875 https://www.facebook.com/events/430667410314875
- gailees 14y agothat was a different event
- mhseiden 14y agoWith the same name, same logo, same sponsoring parent organization, held at the same university? I also distinctly recall a meeting where the executive director from the last hackathon, who is now running this one, informed the members former team that you would be joining on for this semester's MHacks. Please, do explain how this MHacks is inaugural or different.
- ianpaschal 14y agoExactly lol
- ianpaschal 14y agoThanks for pointing this out. ;)
- soodorama 14y agooh what basis can they claim that they are the most epic?
- igul222 14y agoThis is sensationalist flotsam- how can you call a hackathon that hasn't even happened yet "the biggest" and "most epic"?
- jtdaugh 14y agoWord is there's gonna be Red Bull girls there :D
- zan2434 14y agoI agree; don't be fooled by the vanity metrics. Properties of a hackathon necessary to evaluate it fairly against others include not only registration counts but: food, quality of hacks, management/organization, venue, events (beside hacking), sponsors, etc. Those can't be evaluated until it happens, but let's see how it fares.
- ianpaschal 14y agoIt's obviously promotion. I'd love to see you in an advertising job. "You may love or may hate our product; we're not in a position to tell you!"
- nielsenn 14y agoI'm a student at Michigan, can't wait!
- mattste 14y agoI can't wait. This is going to be huge.
