As others have already said, to me the definition of "release early and often" doesn't mean "release something as soon as possible". But rather... Release Early: Find the minimum amount of features needed to let your customer achieve their goal, implement just those and release it. Release Often: Stage the release of new features rather then letting a load stack up and releasing them all at once. Release feature, receive feedback, refine and repeat (Wow 4 Rs!). If something is not right or not finished. It should be kept back. A philosophy shouldn't be the determining factor as to what and when things are released, only you can decide that.
