Can you imagine an "active placebo" for LSD, THK, methamphetamine (for example) ?
"Placebo" must be a potent psychedelic or stimulator itself.
- davidtanner 14y agoI think that amphetamine has been used as a placebo for LSD in some studies. I've also heard of researchers using threshold doses of the psychedelic as the active placebo. This is probably the best option most of the time.
- Ingaz 14y agoIt's interesting, but amphetamine and LSD are tooo different, I can imagine amphetamine as placebo for MDMA, but not for LSD.
- rdl 14y agoI'd probably go for 2C-T-7 directly against LSD (but ending the trial after ~4h; after 12+ hours, it would be obvious who had taken what), but I could easily imagine psychedelics as a class having a common effect.
