- Zarathust 14y agoIn the Apple ecosystem, "modding" includes adding drives and is not recommended
- stcredzero 14y agoAdding drives is fine. Adding drives, plus multiple esoteric volume manager gymnastics is not. (You know what that is?)
- msbarnett 14y agoBecause he's been mucking around with core storage volumes and drive bay extenders to the point that certain of his internal drives look like they're on an external bus to the OS. Apple optimizes for the common case, which he's way outside.
