Perhaps I am more brutal than most. But if a person threatens me with potential violence to take my phone or wallet, then their life is the least of my concerns - it's essentially forfeit. Are they going to stab me after they steal my stuff? Are they going to put me in a car and take me to another location? When violence is threatened, you simply don't know where it's going to lead. I'd rather err on the side of caution which is why I support CCP / LTC for responsible and law-abiding citizens.
