I am a web developer and I personally use this one. http://www.sony.co.in/product/vpcyb25ag http://www.sony.co.in/product/vpcyb25ag I got it for ~$450. It's a little slow but it gets the job done. It's extremely portable. My friends are jealous because I pick it up like it costs nothing. It's relatively lightweight. It came with Windows 7 Starter Edition preinstalled. I cleaned it up and installed Archlinux on it. Now it's my goto machine for hacking on stuff.
