linking BTC addresses to PII? what does this mean?
- narcissus 14y agoPII means "Personally identifiable information", if that's what the confusion is?

- coin 14y agoI dislike abbreviations for this exact reason. Both your and the above responses are different. Clearly it's not well known abbreviation.
- zellyn 14y agoPersonally Identifying Information. It's pretty common to anyone who works with PII. Also the top Google search result for PII.
- andrewcooke 14y agosorry, i probably shouldn't have replied. difficult to know whether the context is "quickly help me understand what this means" or "give me a precise answer", but for the web, with a technical audience, i should lean more towards the latter...
- olefoo 14y agoPII == Personally Identifying Information Sorry, I sometimes make assumptions that many if not most of the people here have had at least some exposure to the language used in data security policies.
