Re your bar system, was this for deployment in hotel rooms and the like? If so how does it cope with the malicious user who refills their bottle with water to avoid or lessen the charge?
- samstave 14y agoNo, this is for the bar/bartender. The system uses very sensitive scales in the drink well and on the shelves, which measure the weight of the bottle, the RFID tags ID the actual bottle and it tracks each pour based on the returned weight of the bottle.
- HeyLaughingBoy 14y agoHas it had commercial success? I proposed a similar system about five years ago to my wife who was working as a bartender at the time. She thought it was a dumb idea :-( I was convinced that she was wrong, but I wasn't motivated enough to find buyers for it.
