I think you need to look at the situation in a completely different way. You are 19 years old with 9 months of real experience. Most companies will pass over you right now because of this. If you are getting a great pay check, put the hard time in for a few years and work on side projects to build your brand. I don't know anyone who will hire someone with only 9 months experience (regardless of age/degree) and your skill set that will provide the perks you are looking for.
