There's no real knowledge to be gained with this line of questioning. There aren't many companies like Apple which makes it very hard to run controlled studies or do thorough research. Also the markets they helped define have changed dramatically as a result of their involvement. So many variables... The best we can really say for now is this is Apple's history as known to outsiders. They accomplished these results. Take it as a data point.
