Thanks. Always happy to help. That was the result of 3 days full-time (~16 hours / day) research, so it was good sharing instead of letting it rot among my "Sent items". I'm actually starting at my new job today (in 11 hours). So the jury is still out on what the machine is like. The X220 has a DisplayPort and VGA out, so no need for driving monitors over USB.
